Sam sighs as he looks at her and then rubs the back of his neck.

"Clem, Doll sweetie you have to um, make sure that you don't hook your self so you need to be careful"

He looks at her where she had set down on the lawn chair he had the poles leaning against she has no idea she how close she came to hooking that perfect ass of hers.

"Clem, darling, sweetie. I went and bought you baubers so that you didn't have to do the cast and reel and drag thing yet, and there is a hook not one inch from your ass."

She glances down at her (cut-off covered; isn't he lucky?) ass. "Oh!" She grabs the hook and flicks it away from her. "Hey, I grew up landlocked," she points out.

"I did too but I learned to adapt. Do you want to hook your own bait?"

Oh he will teach her to fish.

"At least YOU had real lakes." Raspberry: it's being blown. She eyes the bait box. "How...alive is it?"

Sam looks at her as he picks up the box of Night Crawlers, and pulls out one of the extra large earthworms. It wiggles in his fingers.

"They love nutrient enriched potting soil."

Clementine isn't squeamish but woooah is that moving. "I'm guessing pretty alive then." She leans back against his chest; their position is the best part of this little excursion so far. She reaches out for the worm and steels herself for the task, biting her lip to keep from squeaking like a wuss.

"So why did you want me to learn how to do this?" all the better to distract her with.

He wraps his arms around her to help her hook the squirmy little bastard. This is almost as good as teaching to play pool or Bowling.

"Exactly. After this we will master minnows. Because I wanted you to know and enjoy one of my favorite pastimes."

He said it softly in her ear with a kiss.

This is way nicer than it should be, taking into consideration that she's holding a worm in her hand. "Awww. i'll have to take you to target practice sometime." She kisses his neck. This might be fun, if they work at it.

Sam smirks. He likes target practice he wonders if he should tank it to get her to 'teach' him to aim.

He then smiles as he looks at her. "Yeah I think that sounds like it could be fun."

That would involve her wrapping her arm around his and her hand around his wrist...so it might be a wise decision.

"MMmmmm...maybe at the range back in the bar. Or in my world."

"They have a range at the bar?" he asks softly and then thinks about it and smiles he will totally fake it.

"Mmm hmm. Out back. Some kind of demo site, too." She kisses his dimple, because that's always fun.

Sam smiles at her and then rubs her side and then nods."Okay are you ready to learn to toss your line?"

"Is that a metaphor?" She can't help but tease him, and run her fingers down his thigh. "Okay."

"No, not this time. But again later it could be." He grins at her.

"Okay, reel it in tightly like this then put it behind you and sling it down like so." He demonstrates. "When you get to the apex of the arc push this button and your line will release and there you go"

He does it and her bauber is out some twenty feet away from them in the water."

She smirks and kisses his neck. "Mmmkay..."

Try she does, and at least she doesn't hook his clothing.

It lands in the water with a liquidy plunk.

"Well if there is a jellyfish swimming near the shore you will catch him for sure."

See Sams optimistic sarcasm.

So much linefacing, Sam.

"Well, what did I do wrong?"

"You released the button to late is all didn't get the proper fly on it."

He'll deal with that.

"But I pressed it at the top of the arc...." She'll just be sitting there confused, Sam.

"Shh It's okay it takes a while to master. Just reel it in and try again."

Mmm, hand on the stomach, she approves. "Easy for you to say - it's not your pole." Coff. She manages to reel it decently this time, but there's a problem with the castoff...

...And this time she hooks the back of his shirt.

"Sorry!"

"Okay I need you to lean forward while I take my shirt off and get the hook out okay?"

And it will be going back on he's not leaving his skin exposed!

She was hoping she'd get some shirtless Sam out of this. Giving him enough room to take off said offending shirt, she sits back and watches him appreciatively.

The shirt comes off as he slowly starts to take the hook out.

"Luckily it was only shirt."
