Sam sighs as he looks at her and then rubs the back of his neck.

"Clem, Doll sweetie you have to um, make sure that you don't hook your self so you need to be careful"

He looks at her where she had set down on the lawn chair he had the poles leaning against she has no idea she how close she came to hooking that perfect ass of hers.

"I know but do you see this barb here Doll?"

he asks softly as he shows it to her.

She does.

Ouch.

And kisses his shoulder. "You're not hurt though, right?"

"Nope, I am not hurt. But, if you hook yourself, you are better if you run it through then cut the barb off then pulling it out."

She strokes his hand, relieved, loving him.

Her hand rises to his chin, and traces the scar marking the left side of his jaw. "You never told me how you got this."

"It was a fight gone wrong. I won but it was a close call."

he said and smiles at her. It's not exactly a lie it was a close call from an explosion but he was fighting bad guys.

She runs her lips along his jaw, gently. "Where?" she needs to know. It's a very old, very deep scar; it looks like it barely healed.

"It was just down in some bar in Brazil. Carnival was a hoot."

"Mmm. Doesn't surprise me you've been there." Sam has likely been everywhere. "How many times?"

"Well I only took it on the chin once. But five or six times total."

he kisses her cheek. He's actually enjoyed it too. But not that time.

He probably enjoys it every time he wins. Clementine sympathizes. "I meant how many times have you almost bought the farm?"

"I don't know that I have an actual number on that but one time I really really was sure I was dead."

"When was that?" She almost died twice. She'll explain, she always will.

"Mid Nineties Venezuela I was lead in to a trap. I didn't think i would get out alive."

"But here you are." And here she is. "I'm getting some destiny vibes here."

He leans down and kisses her slowly and then smiles as he nods." Yeah, I think so. You done fishing for the day?"

"But we didn't catch anything." If she's going to get sand damage on her best six-inch cork wedges, they'd BETTER catch something.

Sam smiles then rubs her stomach as he looks in to her eyes.

"Okay then try to cast again. And maybe we'll get dinner."

That's just an excuse for her to grind herself into his lap. She gives him a sarcastic look, switches back the pole and casts off.

And it's perfect, for once.

Sam then smiles and kisses her neck as he rubs her sides and his hand slides up to the under side of her breast.

"Good Job."

He does love to hold her that way, doesn't he? She squirms to get his thumbs on her nipples.

"So now we wait?" She kisses his jaw.

Sam nods and then smiles as he keeps his thumbs down and kisses her neck.

"Yes, now we wait. To hopefully get a Mahi Mahi"

He's really much more than she deserves; later on she'll be aware of it and greedily take everything he offers, anything that isn't nailed down, because men like Sam don't fall out of trees.

She laughs. "You'll have to do the cooking. I don't do domestic."

Sam laughs as he kisses her cheek: I bet if we take it to the hotel Chef he'll cook it for us perfectly."

She cups his chin and holds his face, kissing him soundly for a long period of time before releasing Sam with a smirk. "I knew I picked you for a reason." Because he's bright, and knows how to bribe people if need be.

Sam smiles and then grabs the fishing pole as he looks at her.
